the strongest bear in the world
Oh! The childhood memories.
Oh! The childhood memories.
I have been an admirer of Miranda July ever since Me and You and everyone we know. Here’s her latest piece of art. Maybe this is the hallway that will change your life?
Had the most gross weekend for a long time. It started out well; sunny skies, a walk and fancy lunch with Robin and Emma. The discovery of a wonderful bookshop just next door, called Paper Cut made the day.
But since, I’ve been sick sick sick. Tried school today, but it was definitely a bad, bad idea. Got the wonderful opportunity of playing ping pong with Madde though, but that was all the fun I got today.
So, tomorrow it’s recovery day. I’m just gonna lay on my couch and draw.
Been staring into my laptop all day long. Re-designing things. Hate the feeling of inspiration fading away and the notion of staring yourself blind appears. Nothing looks good anymore, but not quite bad either. It’s just not what you where looking for, and you end up sticking with what you’ve got. Argh!
Anyways, I’m back in town and it feels okay. Due to warmer weather and lack of money I’ve started to ride my bike to school now. It’s going well, even though it takes a little longer than the subway. I tell myself that I need the exercise and the fresh air.
One more positive thing about travelling over ground is that you discover a lot more things. Today I found a little Indian/Asian grocery store. Bought cheap tofu and rice noodles from a cheeky (yes, cheeky!) little man in a turban who asked me if I only ate noodles and no rice. He claimed to have good rice. I asked for fresh ginger and he said he’ll have it in two weeks. Guess I’ll be back then.

Both Double Negative and Pixar are here at Hyper Island today! Inspiring and cute. I was delighted to hear that they’re actually bigger fans of clay and brushes than photoshop and my urge to sit all day building little miniatures and making stop motion animations. Neat! Can’t wait to go watch “Up“!
