easter & North Korea
Comments(0)Well, it’s easter and Gotland and holiday for me now. Took the boat to Gotland yesterday, arrived around 12:30 am. Slept for ten hours straight (almost). Feels so god. I love sleeping, and I love Gotland.
I will try to relax for the weekend, hang out with friends and take it easy. Though Noko is on my mind. The Swedish company making jeans in North Korea, you know.

I started out with a really bad feeling about this project: jeans in North Korea? Why? Won’t that money go straight to nuclear weapons? What about the people in North Korea, how will this be beneficial for them? Is this just some crazy PR trick from Swedish marketing yuppies?
But no. It turned out that both Tor, Jacob and Jacob is really smart guys with a genuine ambition to make a difference. To open up North Korea, to start sharing information and learn something new about one of the most closed countries in the world. It might be a really good idea, a genius initiative and something really innovative, telling personal stories and invent strange solutions to strange problems. It will be challenging and fun working with them for the following four weeks, and I’m excited!
It’s like they described the feeling of Noko Jeans themselves:
What.. the… fuck… was… that… that just happened?
Can we do it again?
